The 2015 Chemistry Career Day will be taking place on April 9th at the Lash Miller building on the U of T St. George Campus (80 St. George Street) on April 9th, hosted by the CIC Toronto Local Section, ChemClub at the University of Toronto and RyersonU. It’s a great opportunity for chemistry graduate students who are looking to start on their chemistry career after graduate school. There will be a broad spectrum of representatives to expose students to both ‘traditional’ and ‘non-traditional’ careers in chemistry.

Last year’s career day was a resounding success, with at least one student being hired directly from the career fair. Some of the companies who attended last year were:

  • Digital Specialty Chemicals
  • MarS
  • Ridout & Maybee LLP
  • BASF
  • Xerox
  • Toronto Research Chemicals
  • Sick Kids Hospital
  • And more!

  • Representatives from over 12 chemical companies and institutions in the GTA
  • Presentations from you industry professionals about their path to success
  • An interactive panel discussion with professionals from industry and academia
  • Insider tips from communications experts and career educations
