We’re going camping! From the afternoon of July 20th to midday on July 22nd, we’ll be camping as group at Sibbald Point Provincial Park. Situated on the shores of Lake Simcoe, this is the perfect opportunity to spend the weekend hiking, going for a swim at the beach, or just hanging out with friends. (For those more squeamish about living it up in the wilderness, don’t worry – there are comfort stations throughout the campgrounds complete with flush toilets and shower facilities.)

The registration fee is $5 for ChemClub members and $10 for guests. Sign up at donuts, or fill out the google form here: https://goo.gl/forms/fuYv6bpfZm6rfPl63)

  • Want to go but don’t have a tent/camping equipment? Be sure to ask around the department for anyone with an extra tent to spare. (Note: ChemClub will NOT be able to provide tents or camping equipment.)
  • Willing to drive but don’t have a car? Let us know – ChemClub will take care of the car rental and and gas.
  • Going, but not sure what to bring? ChemClub will provide all the firewood and ice we’ll need. Otherwise, everything else is up to you (food, drinks, etc.).
